U12 Girls take second in Ajax Winter Invitational

Amir Hassan's U12 Division 1 girls team placed second in the very competitive Ajax United Winter Invitational held January 10-11 in foggy Modesto, California.  The team shut out every team they played to advance to the finals.  This in itself was quite an accomplishment as fog was so thick at times visibility across the field was almost impossible.  The final game against Placer was tied 0-0 forcing the girls into penalty kicks where they ultimately lost 3-0.  It was an exciting way to end the tournament. They didn't pull out the ultimate win but the tournament was well fought. Congratulations are in order for Amir and his team!
