Lamorinda FC '95 Take Second in 2006 San Ramon Cup

Congratulations to Lamorinda FC ’95 on a great start to the 2006 season. After three exciting games against quality opponents, they made it to the final in the 2006 San Ramon Valley Cup. The boys displayed great teamwork, ball skills and passion throughout the tournament, and were proud to take home silver after a very exciting final that went into overtime..


Lamorinda FC '94 State Cup 2006

February 11, 2006 - Congratulations to the Lamorinda FC '94 boys for their 4-0 win over the MVLA Earthquakes today in the State Cup round of 16! The boys now advance to play the De Anza Force '94 Blue in the Quarter Finals next Saturday at Cherry Island. Good Luck team!

February 6, 2006 - The U11 Boys and coach Jonathan Alonso advanced to the Round of 16 in State Cup competition. The boys had a great 2005-06 season finishing first in their league. The team will continue their State Cup run this Saturday in Morgan Hill.


Lamorinda FC '91 - 2nd place finish in the Benicia Old Capital Classic

The Lamorinda FC '91 Boys team lead by coach Svilen Dyakovski playing in foggy, windy Benicia rode the summer winds to a second place finish in the Old Capital Classic. FC '91 defeated the Benicia Arsenal and Sonoma Heat on their way to a first place finish in their flight and the hard fought playoff game vs.the Bullard Chiefs (1-2). A great start to the season... Lamorinda U14 boys win the 2005 Napa Wine Classic

The U14 class 1 boys are off to a solid start this year, winning the Napa Wine Classic and reaching the finals of the San Ramon Valley Cup so far in August and finishing 3rd in Honolulu at the Hawaii International Cup in July.

FC'89 Wins Regional Championship in Boise Idaho

Boys FC'89 coached by Godwin Odiye took the US Club regional championships over the 4th of July 2005weekend. They will be playing for the US Club National title on July 29-Aug 1 in Orlando Fla. But fiirst, the team is headed to Sweden to play in the Gothia Cup International Youth Tournament representing Lamorinda Soccer and the USA in front of 45,120 spectators. Good luck boys!


Lamorinda FC '91 - 2nd place finish in the Benicia Old Capital Classic

The Lamorinda FC '91 Boys team lead by coach Svilen Dyakovski playing in foggy, windy Benicia rode the summer winds to a second place finish in the Old Capital Classic. FC '91 decisively defeated Benicia Arsenal 3:0, and despite a tough 2:3 match against the Pleasanton Ballistic came back to send the Sonoma Heat (who hadn't missed a playoff game in 4 years of tournaments) home early with a 1:0 win on a brilliant attack in the last minute of the game. On Sunday afternoon as the winds swirled FC '91 scored quickly against the Bullard Chiefs on the strengths of a sharp passing game and continually pressured the Bullard defense in their half, but ran out of time before they could even the score of the 1:2 game. A great way to start the season so save that spot on the winners podium ...FC '91 will be back!

2005 Nomads College Showcase

These four U13 Lamorinda boys played a significant role as guest players for Ballistic United as they won the prestigous Nomads College Showcase last weekend (Mar. 19-20) in San Diego. Great job boys!

Lamorinda FC 91 - U13 Boys Advance to Quarter FInals

Congratulations to the Lamorinda FC '91-U13 Boys for making it through the Round of 16 of the 2005 Snickers State Cup.
U13 Boys win the Turlock New Years Derby
Todd Higley's U13 boys team wins the Turlock New Years Derby Tournament by beating Mustang United 5-1 in the finals. The boys have also advanced to the third round of the NorCal Cup. Way to go boys!
U9 Boys CI take 2nd at the Kick or Treat Jamboree
Congratulations to the U9 Boys for taking 2nd place at the Kick or Treat Jamboree. The team also took 1st place for their costumes. Great job boys!

BU12 Class III Boys 2nd in the Sept 4-6 Wine Country Classic

The Boys of the U12 Class III team finished 2nd at the Wine Country Classic in Napa. The team lead by coach Don O'Connell had 2 wins and 1 tie in the preliminary round before losing 2-1 in the championship game. Congratulations team!

BU16 CIII Takes First in the Union City "It's a Kick Classic" Aug 21-22

The Boys U16 Class III team took first after a 1-1 Championship tie that went into overtime then PK's. The LMSC keeper successfully blocked two kicks cinching the win. Congratulations to everyone on the team.

Lamorinda FC '89 Champions of the Ballistic Summer Classic

Lamorinda U15 boys took home the champions trophy with their new coach, Godwin Odiye, August 21-23. The U13 boys also attended, advancing to the semi-finals. Great showing 'FC!.

Lamorinda FC '91 Champions of the Morgan Hill/Gilroy Cup Tournament

The Lamorinda U13 boys and new coach Todd Higley finished off a great weekend with a resounding 5-1 victory in the championship game to win the Morgan Hill/Gilroy Cup tournament August 7/8.
